How did Jason Fredericks die?

Jason Fredericks, a Comedian who worked for The Playmakers Entertainment, is being reported to have passed away suddenly as per a statement posted by his brother Kevin on his official social media handles on September 23rd. He leaves behind his wife, Tami, whom he married in 2005, and two children, a son and a daughter.

His brother further posted a few photos in memory of Jason Fredericks with the caption “He was there for everything. @jsonfredericks”

Kevin recently posted a video on Facebook. With the caption of,

“Like even though I be crying. When I think about my brother I be laughing. Memories mean so much more when they’re all you have left. I will laugh forever. And cry forever too. @jsonfredericks I miss you so much already.”

Jason Fredericks cause of death

So far no cause of death has been made public. As per the reports, Jason didn’t have any disease or deteriorating illnesses in the past.

But there are online reports that Jason previously suffered from cancer and overcomes the battle. One of his friends, Kevin Betton Jr. mentioned this in his condolence,

Sending my condolences to the family of Jason Fredericks! Jason was a GREAT brother and always entreated me with kindness.

I was consistently inspired by his fight to overcome cancer. It’s incredibly challenging to see him beat cancer and for God to bring him home this way… it’s tough to reconcile. Yet, we trust in God and thank God that we’ll see him again in heaven.

My family and I have prayed and continue to pray for Jason’s family and for all those impacted by his passing. Thank you for all the memories, Jason.

Another one of Jason’s friends, Matt Aghedo, expressed his condolences by bringing up the video Jason created for his brother’s similar cancer battle.

I met Jason over 3 years ago when Kevonstage was on tour. he was completely down to earth and we chopped it up for a while. I shared with him about a brother of mine who was fighting the same cancer he went through. He took my phone and made a personal video for him and also gifted him a shirt.

Fast forward a year later, Jason and I kept in contact. When I started Civil Conversations in 2020, I reached out and asked if he would do me the honor and be a guest. He immediately said yes and we did the show.

Jason never let his fame or his popularity get in the way of his humility. He was a father, friend, brother and an amazing human being.

Prayers go out to the Fredericks family. Miss you bro!
