Capt. Robert Warrick, the head of the Morongo Basin sheriff's station, said someone called San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department at 4:34 on Friday regarding a shooting on the western edge of Yucca Valley, reports Hi-Desert Star.
The incident occurred in the tattoo parlor's parking lot at 55435 Twentynine Palms Highway. The victim died in a tragic shooting outside Yucca Valley's #1 Smokin' Guns Tattooz shop.
It is revealed that Steven Sigala, aka Savage Studios, was the victim. He was shot to death.
When the deputies arrived at the scene, Sigala was lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene.
Manuel Robledo is identified as a suspect, and law enforcement has apprehended him. He is a 33-year-old man who lives in Riverside.
Deputies found him driving a red Dodge Durango that had been reported stolen from San Bernardino during a search of the area. Deputies took him into custody without a struggle following a felony traffic stop.
He was booked at the Central Detention Center without bail. He is set to appear in court on Tuesday, August 23.
Youtuber Savage Studios was well-known for creating content on his relationships, tattoos, release from prison, dogs, and other topics. The tattoo artist and YouTuber worked out of the #1 Smokin' Guns Tattooz location. He had 127k subscribers in Youtube.
His sudden death has caused an uproar on the internet. Many other online celebrities and cyberians have been discussing his demise.
Although the suspect has been taken into custody, police are still investigating the incident and have asked anyone with the information to call or notify them.
