The shocking news was announced and confirmed by his sister Tinfoil Sis in a short statement shared on Twitter, writing, “I’m not sure how to tell you all, but sadly @tinfoilchef passed away this morning. He will be missed.”
A fan reacted to the statement, and explained, “Damn. We’re gonna miss him. He was one of the most genuine and chill guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. For anyone wondering, this Twitter account has previously been confirmed to be his sister. His family is accepting donations for funeral expenses via PayPal (wabbedu@yahoo.com) if anyone from the community wants to chip in.”
TinFoilChef, additionally written as Tinfoil Chef or shortened as TFC, was a famous YouTuber and member of Hermitcraft as we mentioned before. He was born on June 19, 1959, and had three sisters and a brother. One sister, and his brother, both passed away, unfortunately. He lived in Arkansas, United States for multiple years before recently relocating to Oklahoma.
TinFoilChef, the oldest active Hermit, was a multi-talented personality including a vlogger, Minecrafter, and eager cook. TinFoilChef had been living with a deformed left arm since 1999 when it was injured in a car crash, as opened up in his vlog Weird Arm.
In March 2020 TinFoilChef had part of his right leg amputated below the knee because of a severe infection, as revealed in his vlog Return of TinfoilChef – What Happened. After that, he relocated from his former house near Batesville, Arkansas to his sister’s home in Oklahoma.
The doctors declared at that time that the beloved YouTuber can never use his hand again, though, via hard work and perseverance, this brave person could overcome trouble by getting back on track with what was the most important thing, family time.
